Description
In 1954 the federal government implements the Indian Termination Act, disbanding tribes and stripping Indians of land. By 1961, pay-offs are funnelling down to the displaced in the form of $43,000 checks. For three Klamath brothers--Rollin, Creek, and Pokey--the anticipation of the money inspires vastly different plans. Meanwhile, growing tensions between whites and Indians on the reservation threatens to erupt in violence.
